AUSMASA Industry Roundtable
The automotive industry is rapidly evolving, with innovations ranging from battery electric vehicles and hydrogen fuel cells to advanced driver assistance systems and AI diagnostics. As technology advances at speed, the skills required in the sector are expanding. Training must keep pace to meet these emerging needs.
This week, the Mining and Automotive Skills Alliance (AUSMASA) hosted a roundtable consultation on workforce planning and the VET Workforce Blueprint. The session brought together registered training organisations, government, and industry to explore recruitment challenges, skills gaps, career pathways, and ways to better support trainers and educators.
Thanks to AUSMASA for hosting an engaging and insightful roundtable. Powering Australia was pleased to contribute to the discussion about what it will take to build a future-ready workforce.
