Australia-China Clean tech Innovation Roundtable

Imagine a world where we grew the fuels, plastics and pharmaceuticals you use every day. Imagine no more, the bio-tech exists. The real challenge is doing it at scale.
Australian biotech company, Algenie is innovating the bioreactor used to grow algae, and using AI to select prospective strains. These two things, combined, can deliver meaningful improvements in the economics for algae production at scale.
At the recent Australia China Cleantech Innovation Roundtable in Sydney, pioneering technology and international collaboration were at the forefront of the conversation. Hosted by Boson Ventures, the Australia China Business Council, and Baker McKenzie, the event brought together leaders in renewable energy, critical minerals, and research & development to explore how global partnerships can accelerate cleantech growth both in Australia and internationally.
Powering Australia participated in the discussion, represented by Miriam and Casey, who contributed to valuable exchanges on advancing Australia’s cleantech manufacturing and innovation ecosystem.
Thanks to Tom Parker, Patrick Mayoh, Alan C., and Shuyun Zhang for facilitating valuable dialogue and connecting Australian innovation with global pathways.
