First Nations Clean Energy Symposium

The energy transition is a story deeply connected to Australia and all Australians. Powering Australia’s First Nations Node Leader Sam Kirby heard these stories first-hand at the First Nations Clean Energy Symposium on the lands of the Kabi Kabi people.
Stories of local leadership advancing energy efficiency, strengthening energy security, and fostering equity and intergenerational wealth were deeply inspiring. This important work is happening across the country, from the Torres Strait to the southern coast of Western Australia.
First Nations people are making significant contributions to the clean energy transition. Recognising and valuing this leadership through genuine collaboration and shared learning will be key to enabling a just and prosperous energy future for all Australians.
