Overview

Australia is moving quickly to expand solar, wind and battery technologies, creating a national opportunity to rebuild domestic industrial capability and establish world‑leading clean energy infrastructure.

Over the past ten months, Powering Australia, in collaboration with Cyan Ventures and industry stakeholders, has developed a Generation Sector Competitiveness Plan identifying pathways to capture A$15 billion in economic value.

The plan prioritises three anchor opportunities, critical mineral refining, polysilicon production, and deployment/balance-of-plant manufacturing, underpinned by ultra-low-cost renewables and strategic industrial partnerships.

powering australia is an active facilitator across Australia’s wind energy ecosystem, connecting heavy industries, research bodies, training providers, and renewable energy stakeholders.
