The Circle’s First Nations Business Showcase
First Nations leadership is playing an important role in shaping Australia’s clean energy transition, with the Indigenous energy sector workforce tripling in 15 years.
Powering Australia, represented by Shona, recently attended The Circle First Nations Entrepreneur Hub’s First Nations Business Showcase 2025. Hosted in partnership with AusIndustry, the National Indigenous Australians Agency, ANZ, Flinders University, and Adelaide University, the event brought together 100 First Nations businesses and more than 2,000 attendees. It highlighted the depth of Indigenous capability and enterprise driving innovation across South Australia.
The event also welcomed South Australia’s newly appointed Deputy Premier and first Indigenous Attorney General, Kyam Maher, who emphasised the importance of creating meaningful employment opportunities for First Nations communities throughout the clean energy transition.
Powering Australia champions these efforts and remains committed to driving positive change through collaboration, innovation, and community-led leadership.
