Thorion (Ultra Power Systems Limited trading as Thorion Energy) together with their network of partners, designs, manufactures, installs, commissions and maintains modular, integrated renewable power generation (solar and wind) and energy storage systems.

Their V40 Vanadium Redox Flow Battery module provides an alternative solution for electricity storage for larger scale energy storage applications and patented chloride-based, mixed acid electrolyte with 70% higher energy storage and 20 degree higher operating temperature designed for large scale long duration energy storage.

“We have engaged with Bradley Appleyard and his team for several years and the Thorion team embody the spirit of Aussie ingenuity and innovation and we are delighted they have thrown their weight behind Powering Australia,” said Shannon O’Rourke.
