Visit from Taiwan’s Tech Institute

This week we welcomed visitors from Taiwan’s Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI)(工業技術研究院, 工研院) Institute to our Perth Headquarters.

Jung-Mu Hsu gave us a fascinating insight into the institution which was founded in 1973 and is home to more than 6000 researchers working in fields ranging from green energy, biomedical technology, information and communications, material and chemical laboratories.

We discussed opportunities for collaboration between our two countries including technology sharing, trade and investment opportunities and the potential for Australian businesses to partner with major Taiwanese manufacturers.
