World Expo 2025 Osaka

Last week, CEO Shannon O’Rourke O’Rourke represented Powering Australia at World Expo 2025 Osaka, joining Dr. Adam Best and Professor Patrick Howlett at the Australian Battery Manufacturing Panel Event hosted at the Australia Pavilion by the Department of Industry, Science and Resources.
The event highlighted Australia’s strengths in critical minerals, green metals and battery technologies, advancing the objectives of the National Battery Strategy and showcasing opportunities to collaborate with Japan on building resilient, sustainable energy supply chains.
With World Expo 2025 expected to attract more than 28 million visitors under the theme designing future society for our lives, Australia’s presence highlights how our innovation, resources and advanced manufacturing are contributing to a Future Made in Australia and positioning us as a trusted partner in the global clean energy transition.
