Battery Workforce Skills and Training Grants Released

Australia’s workforce is set to receive an injection of support through the release of Powering Australia’s Battery Workforce Skills and Training Grants (BWST) program. The $1.6 million program will run between now and the end of 2027 featuring several rounds to obtain funding for:

• Training Grants: for businesses seeking to co-invest to upskill staff and establish a pipeline of skilled workers for the battery sector. Guidelines
• Training Materials Development Grants: to support organisations developing training resources for emerging battery technologies. Guidelines
