Unlocking Australia's carbon ecosystem

Overview

As global industries decarbonise, new opportunities are emerging for Australia not only to reduce emissions at home, but to build the carbon solutions that underpin a net zero economy.

Over the past twelve months, Powering Australia, in collaboration with Cyan Ventures, Deloitte and industry stakeholders, has developed a Carbon Plan identifying pathways to capture significant economic value from carbon opportunities.

The plan prioritises anchor opportunities in plantation forestry and geological storage, complemented by wider services and technology supply chains and underpinned by Australia’s vast land, storage resources and research strengths.
