Meet Sam – First Nations Node Leader!

The Powering Australia team is delighted to welcome Sam Kirby as our First Nations Node Leader. Together with his family, Sam has not only taken on this key role but also committed to moving his family across the country from Albury to Perth to do so!

He has spent the last 15 years of his career on community development, building a better understanding of the complexities in creating positive social change, focusing on the achievement of better outcomes for First Nations communities.

Sam has worked in public service and not for profit roles in land rights, natural resource management, heritage protection, emergency management and education.

Sam said he welcomes the opportunity to join the Powering Australia team and to help deliver better business outcomes for First Nations peoples through the clean energy transition.
