Powering Australia launches First Nations Clean-Tech Business Resources

Powering Australia has released a new suite of resources, developed in collaboration with Pilbara Solar, to help First Nations business owners identify and pursue opportunities across Australia’s clean energy transition.

The six-part series covers construction contracting, community engagement and heritage services, land management and environmental services, solar and general mechanical services, end-of-life decommissioning, and renewable energy recycling, spanning every stage of a renewable energy project’s life, from early development through to decommissioning decades later.

Each resource sets out the skills, training and equipment needed to get started, along with where to find funding, training and procurement support, including First Nations business directories, government grant programs and national platforms like Supply Nation.

As Australia’s clean energy transition accelerates, Powering Australia is committed to ensuring First Nations businesses and communities can lead and benefit from the opportunities it creates on Country.
