Welcome Casey – NSW Project Officer!

The Powering Australia team extends a warm welcome to NSW Project Officer Casey Kwak. Casey together with Node Leader Miriam Cuellar will have accountability for transmission and distribution and carbon and clean-tech activity in their state more broadly.

Casey joins our team with a unique background in sustainability engineering in the built environment and complex systems, having worked on a diverse range of projects in Melbourne and Sydney.

He has familiarity with NABERS, WELS, and Green Star, as well as a wealth of experience in compliance and sustainability-focused initiatives and is fluent in Korean and English.

Casey is passionate about grid modernisation, focusing on accelerating the transition to renewable energy, and will leverage his experience in sustainability and systems thinking to support initiatives that enhance renewable energy infrastructure and foster collaboration across the clean-tech sector.
